I hope you enjoyed you summer!

It was a short one for us as we are all back in the saddle again. There is a lot to look forward to this autumn. I will keep you posted. The first item I can mention is happening this Wednesday, 3rd at 7pm.. I have been invited to join a panel of the British Fantasy Society entitled "THE WRITE TO FIGHT". How to write fights in literature.

Dear Friends,

We received the result from the BBC Commisioners regarding Afraid of the Dark which was on the shortlist for a number of weeks.

It was rejected.

Here at Wilkinson Productions Audio, from our exectutive producer, Roger Elsgood, producer Richard Shannon, director, Carl Prekopp, writer, Bruce Bigg and script supervisor, Emily Reader, we were all a litte stunned. 

As you will know all to well, this is a tough business. 

My personal thanks to everyone involved. You are all outstanding professionals and a pleasure to work with. I cannot wait until our next adventure in the Audio realm.

The BBC Commissioning results are in for the June 2025, 44' minute programme round.

We have one through to the Long Proposal stage - Paul Sirett's "The Goalkeeper's Guide to Absurdism"

The entire Wilkinson Productions Audio Team would like to thank all the writers who submitted their magnificent work, through us, to the BBC. We are so very proud that you chose us to present your work to the BBC Commsioners on your behalf.

"Afraid of the Dark" by Bruce Bigg remains in the SHORTLISTED stage.

The musical score, songs and lyrics written by Garry Wilkinson.

The story and stage production scripted by Andrew (Andy) Wilkinson.

Garry and I are so thrilled and excited.
