Dear fellow adventures,
It is November already, where does the time go? The panel scene, above, is a storyboard frame from Fortune's Luck.
Fortune's Luck is a family adventure set in the world of pirates, lost treasure, agents provocateur, kidnapped Inca princesses and of course, the film is packed full of swashbuckling thrills and stunts!
I intend to bring back the halcyon days of Hollywood's fanstaical sets, costumes and dripping in Technicolor (sic) magic.
This is a film I have written and have been tinkering with for many years now. It is my first pet production, I know how most of these dream film projects turn out, so I am being so careful not to over cook the idea and let the flavours explode, at the audiences pleasure, to bring the characters and adventure to life. I hope to share my little dream with you one day soon.
Thinking about being in the audience at the premier of this film makes me smile. Which brings my thoughts to November, once again.
I know, like us, you were expecting expecting news of our Audio pitches from the goodship, BBC. We are still waiting, however. No news is good news, as they say.
It is that time of year when your energy levels may be struggling to surface, especially as the mornings are dark and nights are drawing in, the leaves are falling like your motivation to keep that smile on your face. Don't let the inevitable autumn and winter seasons take over your mood. Spring will come soon enough.
I am one of those annoyng people, who embraces the changes of the seasons. Too much sun makes a desert, after all. Nature hibernates in the winter months, so you too can take it easy, recharge your batteries for when the sun returns. Allow your creatives throughts to take root, looking forward to the first bloom of your next project!
I will post another update of our pitches, as soon as I hear.
Be useful, be helpful, stay positive!
Andy
